MythTV Book:Community Portal
From MythTV Book
When parts of the first edition of the MythTV book became out of date, we decided to take the book online and ask others to help us improve it and bring it up to date. There is a blog for announcements, at http://mythtvbook.com/blog. If you're interested in helping out, please visit the HelpWanted page. There is also a Credits page for people who have helped out with this project.
This page is targeted towards people intending to make edits to chapters on this wiki.

Useful Information
There are stock images which are used throughout this wiki. Before uploading an image, please make sure that there isn't one in this collection already, and when you add an image, please add it to this collection as well. That means that when an image is updated, only one place needs to be updated and all users will end up with the new image.

- Lirc Images
- MythBuntu Images
- MythNetTV Images
- Pidgin Images

Sample Videos
The Internet Archive has a list of open source videos that we can use for samples throughout the book. I have been using this video for my samples.
Content Graveyard
The Graveyard is where content goes to peacefully await it's maker. Specifically, in moving from the first edition to the second edition, there were some passages which didn't fit into the new layout. Instead of deleting them forever, they're put into the Graveyard until we find the right place for them.
